 General Rules

  1. FIFA Rules
  1. The home team is always the first team listed on the schedule. A coin flip will occur at the start of the match to determine which team kicks off and what goal will be defended by each team. In case of uniform color clash, the away team will change.
  2. Fields: There will be a penalty area arc where the goalkeeper can only handle in this area.
  1. Officials: There will be one official per game. The referees’ decisions are final. There will be no protest hearings and games will stand as played.
  1. Game Duration: The game will consist of 2 x 8 minute halves, for a total of 16 minutes, with a 2/3 minutes half time period. In group play, tied games will count. Semi-finals will consist of 2 x 10 minutes halves and the tournament final will consist of 2 x 15 minutes halves.
  1. Players: Each team will have a maximum of five players on the field at any one time, one of them must be the goalkeeper. In each match, SIX different players must play, with a maximum of TEN players.

  Match Rules 

  1. Offside: There is NO offside.
  1. Sliding tackles are NOT allowed.  Sliding Tackles will be penalized by a direct free kick.
  1. The opposition must be a minimum of 3 meters from any free kick.
  1. There is no restriction as to how high the ball may be played.

 

  1. Goal Kicks: Goal kicks may be taken from anywhere in the penalty area. Goalkeeper can also throw the balls with his hands.
  1. The “pass back rule” (as in the official FIFA rules) will be applied. Where a goalkeeper handles the ball after it has been deliberately passed back by a teammate, the opposing team will be awarded an indirect free-kick.
  1. If goalkeeper uses his hands outside the limit of the arc, opponent team will be given an indirect free-kick
  1. Goals can only be marked in the half pitch of your opponent.
  1. Throw-ins are played like indirect free-kicks. So not allowed to score from throw-ins.
  1. CARDS: Yellow cards are subject to the expulsion of the player until a goal is scored. Red card lead to the expulsion of this player only this game.

The organization keeps the right to suspend a player from the tournament if necessary. This is a friendly tournament, we sincerely hope that this situation will not occur. Teams and players not competing in the correct spirit will be asked to leave the competition. French Le's decision is final. 

  1. Any team that withdraws from a match or fails to play a match will forfeit that game at a score of 3-0.
  1. Point System. Standings will be determined by the following point system:

Win – 3 pointsTie – 1 PointLoss – 0 Points Tie Breakers.If at the conclusion of preliminary play or if a tie breaker is needed for any reason, the following criteria will be used to break any ties in the order listed:A. Head to head competition (not used if more than 2 teams tied, instead proceed straight to B).B. Goals difference (= Goals scored minus goals conceded)C. Fewest goals conceded 

  1. After the result of each group, the following phase will occur as follow:
    1. First two teams will be qualified for quarter finals of the Table I.
    2. All 3rd and 4th are qualified for the quarter finals of Table II
    3. After disqualification in quarter or semi-finals, teams play for their ranking against the teams that were disqualified at the same step

 Number of games: All teams will be guaranteed to play at least five games, max six games. 

  1. Ties in disqualification phase:
    1. During quarter and semi-finals, if the score is a tie, 3 penalty kicks rule apply. More players will kick penalty until there is a winner
    2. In Final: Additional 10 minutes will be played. The rule of the Golden Goal will be applied; first team scoring will be the winner. In case no goals are scored, 3 penalty kicks rule apply.

 IMPORTANT: The 3 penalty kick rule will be played on the Central pitch so next game can be played on the original pitch. Substitutions: Can happen at any time on any of the team’s restarts i.e. throw in, goal kick, corner kick, free kick, after a goal has been scored by either team and during a stoppage of play for an injury.
